Hi! I'm Carrie...a South Seattle based wedding and portrait photographer.  My passion for photography has been a part of me for as long as I can remember...I've had a camera in my hand since I was a little girl.  Capturing the innocence of a beautiful child, or that magical moment when a couple in love says, "I do," well, it just makes me happy!

 

I’m a very creative person, and enjoy a number of artistic outlets. As well

as taking and editing photographs, I play guitar, sing, write music, and designed some of the fancy fairytale dresses you see in many of my photographs. I shoot with sort of a "romantic eye," and I guess my overall style would be described as "soft and dreamy." I like making things pretty.  My style pairs especially well with weddings, women, and little girls. (I probably wouldn't be anyones first choice for a heavy metal band's album cover!)

 

I think that one of my strengths is helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Most of the adults I photograph have never had their picture taken professionally, unless it was at their wedding, or with their entire family. One of my favorite things in the world, is to hear someone say, "OMG Carrie...These are the BEST pictures ANYONE has ever taken of me!" That feels amazing, and is always my goal.

I feel that I am very competitively priced for the over 25 years of experience I bring to the table, and the professional equipment that I use. Capturing the special moments of your life with photographs, is an investment you'll be eternally grateful for as time goes on. The portraits that grace my walls of my girls growing up, truly are some of my most prized possessions. You can't go back in time...Lets capture some of life's joyful moments together soon!
